The Hunny Hun Hun!

The coolest shot ever!

Recovery Room

It has now been 6 days since ACL Surgery day. We are definitely healing....slow and steady. Pain Killers become good friends quickly after such traumatic times!

I have also found that I am very skilled in the art of nursing a damaged husband back to health! Physical Therapy 3 times a week and "at home exercises" in between.

Chris and I have had many conversations since the "injury" regarding the blessing of healthy bodies. So many times I find myself driving around the grocery store parking lot to find the Absolute CLOSEST spot available, but now I would like to share with all of you that I will be finding joy and pleasure in walking whatever distance necessary across the grocery store parking lot (unless of course it is freezing outside). I hope and pray that in the next 5 weeks my amazing and courageous husband will be able to join me!

This is the first time Chris' knee has been exposed since the surgery.
WARNING: Image not for the faint of Heart!

This is a cool contraption at Physical Therapy...it may be called a chokie...or maybe not the name has slipped my mind. the machine helps with the knee's range of motion.

This is how we roll!

Our New Toy!

Yamaha Rhino

Chris has been advised not to ride his motorcycle or do any major physical activity on his knee for 6 months. In order for us to keep up with our friends (and for fun of course) we purchased this Yamaha Rhino. We have already had lots of fun on it, so I'm sure it will be great. Stay tuned for enhancements ;)

Chris' ACL Surgery

The Knee Surgery Patient and me posing for a picture.
Chris resting in bed after surgery and a long day of the hospital.
Chris' new best friend his knee brace....
Chris' second new best friend the ice pack. This little cooler filled with ice every 6 hours runs ice cold water through the blue ice pack under his brace. Cooling the surgery area helps to keep the swelling down and in return lowers the pain. anyway...it's a pretty cool contraption.

This is me after a long day of Orem Community Hospital.

Chris in China

Chris and they China Crew
Showing off the Bamboo Scaffolding commonly used in China for construction.
Taipei 101...currently the tallest building in the world. If you don't believe me google it....you'll see.

Chris sent me some pictures of China so far. He said it's about 70 degrees and 100% humidity, which means that it feels like it's 85-90 degrees. Gary and Chris will be in China till Tuesday and then will be traveling by boat to Hong Kong, then flying to Taiwan for a motorcycle show. We will see what pictures we get from him then...

This dude is riding his motorcycle with 4 propane tanks on the back! Haha! He is insane! Great Catch Chris!
